Chinese medicine follows the seasonal cycles. Therefore, it is vital to assist the body in maintaining health when seasons and temperatures change. It is best to go to bed early and sleep late as the sun sets earlier and rises later.

Congee is a wonderful breakfast meal that includes 4 cups of water to one cup of rice. This is cooked over very low heat for 6 to 8 hours with slices of ginger and red Chinese dates. Enjoy congee warm for breakfast at peek digestive hours of 7am to 9am.
